Guide to which is which
Hm
Considering I still haven't gotten approved to post over at the PHPBB forums, I am inclined to say drupal :)
...Especially if David is admin so we have someone to bug about giving access etc. Currently no one seems to know who is handling the PHPBB's new user approval/access.
I'd say the Drupal forums are
I'd say the Drupal forums are much better for club stuff. David is very good about approving people's accounts, and the Cafe SSU forum seems to be locked to new users. It'll give me a reason to pop in more often on the site here!
Hey Guys Phpbb forums are
Hey Guys
Phpbb forums are what I use. They are easy to use easy to install and are not drupal.
Furthermore, i'd like to say that nobody is going to spam this forum, we probably don't need a Captcha. Also what a retarded word.

We just got spammed a few
We just got spammed a few days ago by a print-cartridge refilling company in Oklahoma, so take that for what it's worth. Spambots don't care if we have a high traffic board or can afford to buy anything, they just check that we use a type of CMS they can interact with.
Mollom
For Spam, you can use Dries's Mollom module. It works fansastic and lot better than other spam blocking software. If i was you, i would go for vbulletin or drupal forums itself.
Drupal is out of box SEO friendly.
