The SSU Nerd-A-Thon continues with Mario Kart in Darwin 128 at 5:30 PM, followed by ping-pong at Ryan's house (where we have been holding the Movie Nights).

WICS is hosting a costume party, movie showing, and corn maze getting-lost-in on Friday the 24th of October. Everyone is invited. From Stephanie:

Join WICS Friday Oct 24th, for a corn maze and scary movie extravaganza. Come in costume when the festivities begin at nightfall! Also be ready to sing happy birthday, its the CS/WICS secretary's birthday!

We will meet at the flagpole at 7:00 PM. RSVP with Jenna if you don't want the group to leave without you.
Be aware that the corn maze will cost $8 per person.

The corn maze is at 550 Stony Point Road in Petaluma. If you've ever been stuck in traffic driving south on 101 while everyone stops to watch the corn grow, you know where it is. The best way to get there from SSU is to take Petaluma Hill Road down into Petaluma, go straight over the freeway, and take a right at the Henny Penny Restaurant onto Stony Point Road.

After the corn maze, we will repose at Leela's place at 166 Cherry Street in Petaluma to watch some movies.

The SSU Nerdathon continues at 7:00 PM on Tuesday, October 7th with a poker competition at Penngrove Pub. The Pub is on Penngrove's Main Street which is the southern block of Petaluma Hill Boulevard past the Adobe Road stoplight, so if you miss it, you missed the whole town. You probably have to be over 21 years of age to join in this one.

Compete against the rest of Darwin Hall in the SSU Nerdathon's Bowling competition. The fun starts at Petaluma Boulevard Lanes in south Petaluma at 9:00 PM.

We need good bowlers for the team. The rest of us will be goofing off a few lanes over.

A movie night is tentatively scheduled for Friday, December 5. The location is 833 Loadstone Ct in the 'L' section of Rohnert Park. Bring your own food and beverages if you want any.

Scrabble tournament between SSU's Darwin Hall science departments.

This will be at 7:00 PM on Monday, September 22, at Mountain Mike's Pizza in the shopping center across the street from Rancho Cotate High School. Just show up if you want to participate.
